Since arriving Winnipeg in 2003 to head the U of M’s Jazz Studies Program, Steve Kirby has assembled a remarkable collection of world-class musician/educators that has made the Program a leader in jazz education.  The NPJC features Will Bonness (piano), Quincy Davis (drums), Derrick Gardner (trumpet), Jon Gordon (saxophone), Anna-Lisa Kirby (vocals), Steve Kirby (bass), and Larry Roy (guitar).
