BYOB Book Drive - NYC

Do you care about literacy? Do you like to party with other booknerds? Do both with Book Riot and the Harry Potter Alliance! As a kick-off to the Accio Books campaign and in honor of World Book Night, we’re throwing events on April 23 to collect books for literacy charities, feature some of our favorite bookish people, and generally geek out.  

Admission: one new or gently-used book to donate (more than one welcome!). 

Join us at Tumblr HQ from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. There will be book stories from Megan Abbott, Dhonielle Clayton, Jeffrey Cranor, and Danielle Henderson, plus prizes, goodies, and snacks. All books collected will be donated to Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
