DSM is a self-guided photography studio exclusively at inside of Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi MI.   Imagine, create, and immerse yourself in a colorful world of fun and playful interactive scenes while capturing jaw-dropping photos/videos with your own smartphone or camera. 

Explore freely and be in control of your experience.  Bold and unique themes fill every room and wrap every corner providing a wide range of photo/video opportunities for any purpose imaginable.

Whether you're coming in for a good time, date night, professsional photos, brand shoot, headshots, to capture content for your social feeds, shoot a music video, or to even host an event or party--DSM is THE premier place to do it ALL!

***PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT BECAUSE WE ARE AN ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY, EVERY PERSON WHO ENTERS MUST PURCHASE A TICKET.  THIS INCLUDES ADULTS CHAPERONING KIDS AND PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT TO EXPLORE OUR SPACE WITHOUT TAKING PHOTOS.

Monday-Thursday: 10A-8pm

Friday/Saturday:  10-9pm

Sunday 11am-6pm

*we reserve the right to close within these hours for private events

THINGS TO BRING: camera, accessories or change of clothes. Most importantly, bring your imagination and a smile. Selfie sticks and personal props are permitted. 

ADDRESS: 27500 Novi Road, Novi, MI 48377. We are conveniently located at 12 Oaks Mall. Our studio is on the 2nd floor next door to Champs.  

IMPORTANT INFO: 

We do not have available restrooms in our space, however we conveniently have public restooms available a few doors down. 

No Food or Beverage within the studio

All minors below the age of 10 must have an adult in their group for supervision. We do not have an age minimum however we ask that parents and guardians use their discretion while keeping in mind that their children must be accompanied by an adult, at all times. 

Photographer's are welcome! You may bring your photographer with you to help capture your special photos. All photographer's must purchase a general admission ticket and should contact us at hello@thedetroitselfiemuseum.com if he/she intends to use equipment and lights outside of a professional camera. 

It is highly encouraged that you purchase tickets in advance through our website. Walk in tickets are available but subject to availibility.
