Homecoming Comedy Show
Pittsburgher Danny Palumbo, an Austin TX comedian, visits his hometown for two nights of awesome stand-up comedy.
About Danny: Originally from New Castle, Pennsylvania, Danny Palumbo is a comedian and writer living in Los Angeles. He has appeared on Fuse's Uproarious and Kevin Hart's LOL Network. He has been heard on NPR and featured on ABC News, Eater, and Savage Henry. In addition to being a food writer for The Austin Chronicle, he is also the creator of three satirical fine dining websites which have received praise from America's Test Kitchen. Danny started stand up comedy in the french fry littered sewers of Pittsburgh, where he learned the many elusive secrets in holding a microphone. A few years later he moved to Austin, Texas to hone his skills. In Austin, Danny quickly became a mainstay in the scene. In 2015, he won the 30th annual Funniest Person in Austin contest. That same year, Splitsider named Danny one of the top up-and-coming comedians outside of NY and LA. In 2016, he was chosen as a New Face at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Danny has also been selected to perform at the Moontower Comedy Festival and the Big Sky Comedy Festival. Affable, honest, and unpredictable - his act jumps from personal and revealing to outlandish and silly. Danny is a fantastic joke writer and skilled story teller, and his style of comedy has landed him gigs in comedy clubs across the country.
