The Shea Theater is pleased to present an evening of music with Massachusetts-based Americana band Whiskey Treaty Roadshow with special guest Dan Blakeslee on Saturday, September 24th.

ABOUT WHISKEY TREATY ROADSHOW
The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow is made up of Massachusetts songwriters Tory Hanna, Billy Keane, Chris Merenda, Greg Daniel Smith and David Tanklefsky. For seven and a half years, the band has thrilled regional and national audiences with its electric live shows, earning them slots at acclaimed festivals including Green River Fest, Fresh Grass, The Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival, The Rock Boat, StrangeCreek and more.
In January 2020, the band released its debut studio album, Band Together, featuring Steve Gorman (The Black Crowes) on drums and Pat Sansone (Wilco) on bass. The album was produced by acclaimed Berkshires musician/producer Johnny Irion. The album earned acclaim in Rolling Stone, No Depression, and American Songwriter.

ABOUT DAN BLAKESLEE
With a suitcase of songs, Maine folk troubadour Dan Blakeslee ventured into the subways of Boston in 1995 to practice his craft. He has been making music and art throughout New England ever since, leading him to tour the U.S. performing with Langhorne Slim, The Low Anthem, David Wax Museum, Lydia Loveless, The Lumineers, Old 97′s, Brown Bird, Josh Ritter, Death Vessel and Kimya Dawson among others. Blakeslee is unafraid to bare his very soul on stage, emptying a loaded cache of emotion and passion onto the stage for all to witness, explore and devour.
ABOUT THE SHEA THEATER
The Shea provides performance space for a variety of attractions designed to appeal to the widest range of tastes. Musical offerings include folk, pop, rock, swing, jazz, country and traditional. Theatrical productions encompass musical comedy, drama, comedy, and political satire. In addition, audiences can take advantage of magic shows, children's shows and silent film revivals.
The Shea, with the help of a wonderful corps of volunteers, has been attracting a growing audience and as a result is bringing people into Turners Falls from an ever larger geographical area. This growth has put the Shea on a firmer financial footing, providing the basis for expectations of an even more exciting future for this vital community asset.
