Event Description

This Urban EcoSteward training is open to all. Learn how and when to effectively identify and remove common invasive plants in the fall and hear tips to differentiate them from their native lookalikes.


Event suggested donation: $5


This is an outside event and will be held rain or shine. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes.


Urban EcoSteward trainings are led by program partners and are designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to care for parks and greenspaces. Urban EcoStewards is a program run in partnership with Nine Mile Run Watershed Association, Tree Pittsburgh, Allegheny CleanWays, and Allegheny Land Trust.
